The best version of Think And Grow Rich is whichever version you will actually use.
Notice I didn’t say read, I said use. That’s because Think And Grow Rich is not a book that you can just read once and then expect your life to change. I made that mistake years ago. I read Think and Grow Rich a few times but my life didn’t change until I actually took the time to do the exercises in the book.
When I incorporated the exercises in the beginning of the book into my daily life and did the self analysis questions way in the back of the book (people forget about those) I changed and so did my life.
So let’s explore all the different options and discover the best version of Think And Grow Rich for you.

Since Think And Grow Rich is in the public domain we can offer a free PDF download. I wish we could do that for more books! They do say that the best things in life are free and this certainly is the case here.
Kindle and Audio Versions of Think And Grow Rich
The next best thing to free is cheap, so our next option is the Kindle version of Think And Grow Rich.
What? You don’t own a Kindle?
No problem.
My favorite way to read success books is by using the free Kindle app on my phone. It wasn’t until I deleted all my social media and news apps from my phone and installed the Kindle and Audible apps that my life started to change. Like most people, I had developed a negative dopamine feedback loop by constantly checking my phone, wasting hours of time.
I took what was a negative pattern of behavior, tweaked it and used it for my benefit. I started working on my life instead of wasting hours by reading and listening to books like Think And Grow Rich whenever I felt the urge to pick up my phone.
The Complete Think And Grow Rich Starter Kit
Since Think And Grow Rich is more like a textbook than anything else, that means like any other textbook, there’s gonna be homework. To make the process easier, I found that using one of the workbooks really helped me to keep focused. One option is the starter kit which combines a copy of the Think And Grow Rich Mastermind Edition and a companion workbook. The MasterMind Edition includes some addtional quotes, stories and articles. The best thing they add are instructions on how to start and run your own MasterMind group or partnership. The two together really take all the guesswork out of the entire process. This starter kit also makes a nice gift as they are packaged together.
Napoleon Hill Foundation Official Workbook
A better option may be the “official” workbook published by the Napoleon Hill foundation. This is the most complete workbook available. It sticks very closely to Mr. Hill’s original intent. It has a better selection of exercises and questions than the other workbooks to keep you on track.
Napoleon Hill Foundation First Edition Reprint
Since Think And Grow Rich is in the public domain, there are lots of editions being sold. Publishers are free to make any changes they want to the format and still call it Think And Grow Rich. The Napoleon Hill Foundation can be trusted to publish editions that contain the original text just as the author created it. The foundation took Napoleon Hill’s own personal copy of the first edition from March 1937 and faithfully reproduce it today. This allows you to purchase a book with the knowledge that you are getting the book in the exact same format as the first edition.
This one is my Pick for the Best Version of Think And Grow Rich
An affordable hardcover edition that makes a very nice gift and looks fantastic sitting on your desk or bookshelf is this deluxe edition. It’s not nearly as nice as the collector’s leather bound edition you’ll see below but it is more attractive than any of the versions above. This version, like the Napoleon Hill Foundation editions, also has the complete original text from 1937.
I think this edition really gives the book a more upscale presentation befitting its incredible contents. Many of the paperback editions give Think And Grow Rich a cheap pulp book feel. This version is about the same price as the paperback versions but when I read it, I feel that the reading experience is more enjoyable. I think this edition has a more congruent package than the paperbacks because the more upscale, luxurious exterior matches its classic and timeless interior contents.
It is vegan “leather” bound with marbled end pages. It comes with a nice dust sleeve too. While this is my pick of all the versions of Think And Grow Rich, wait till you see the next one. That one is on my wish list.
This Version Tells The World You Actually Read Think And Grow Rich...Cuz It's Expensive!
The ultimate collector edition has to be this rare leather bound hard cover edition. A bit pricey but after reading it you can afford it!
This is the version you want for the coffee table or bookshelf for a very nice display. It also makes a fantastic gift for the recent college graduate. It contains the complete text of the original edition.
They do go out of stock sometimes so if they are sold out check back later.
Editions of Think And Grow Rich To Avoid
There are many, many other versions of Think And Grow Rich floating around. Some of them rewrite the original text to update it for either language or for a particular audience.
I do NOT recommend any of these editions.
When these “authors” attempt to either modernize the language or tailor the concepts to a specific audience, they dilute the original author’s message. My recommendation is to stick to the original text editions, preferably ones from the Napoleon Hill Foundation just to make sure.
