Why Think And Grow Rich Is Still Worth Reading Today

TL;DR… because it’s about changing your mindset to get what you really want.

Is Think And Grow Rich Still Relevant Today?

Isn't Think And Grow Rich Outdated?

Why is Think And Grow Rich Worth Reading?

Three good questions.

I have three simple answers.

  1. The reason Think And Grow Rich is still relevant today is because while the world itself has changed dramatically, people have fundamentally remained the same. Think and Grow Rich is about how the human mind operates and how changing your mindset changes your life.
  2. Napoleon Hill introduced many concepts you are familiar with to the mainstream consciousness but over time those concepts have been diluted and misunderstood. Read Think and Grow Rich and you’ll learn for instance why the popular understanding of “Manifestation” is all wrong.
  3. Think And Grow Rich gives you a definite plan of action to change your life. Most self-help books today are full of feel-good fluff but don’t give you any clear direction to make changes in your life.

Read on as I explain exactly why Think And Grow Rich is still worth reading today and what you can expect from studying Think and Grow Rich and learn about a much newer book that will turbocharge your results when you combine the two.

Why Think And Grow Rich is Still Worth Reading Even Today

When people say “There is nothing new under the sun” they are usually referring to the human world and its inhabitants. People can read ancient stories and manuscripts from thousands of years ago and the humans depicted think, feel and act exactly like we do. This is because human beings are still the same contradictory, confusing and emotional creatures they have always been since the dawn of recorded time.

While certain industries, concepts and theories that center around the physical world can change in mere months, human beings, for the most part, don’t change much. This is why Think And Grow Rich has stood the test of time. It remains the best-selling self-help book year after year because Mr. Hill hit upon a formula that allows the average person to make changes to their way of thinking, their emotions, their mindsets and come up with definite plans for their futures. Once you’ve figured out what you really want and come up with a plan of action and mix in faith that creates a burning desire, your life will change for the better. Bank on it…both literally and figuratively!

Napoleon Hill launched the entire self-help industry when he first published Think And Grow Rich. He did that through his deep understanding of how the human mind worked. Since then, some of the concepts of Think And Grow Rich that are now so widely known have been twisted and misunderstood.

The modern understanding of “Manifestations” is a great example. Mr. Hill taught that Affirmations and Visualizations MUST be combined with immediate and definite ACTIONS. He taught that action must take place at once, even if you are not ready. He says to start NOW even if you don’t have the right tools as better tools will be made available through your forward momentum.

Compare this to the popular belief that you can “Manifest” your reality just by thought alone. If you’ve been led astray and still think that’s possible, let me ask you one simple question?

How’s that working out for ya?

Which reminds me of an old joke. An old man goes to church each day and prays to God; “God, please let me win the lottery”. Day after day the old man does the same thing, and he never wins the lottery. After years of this, the old man goes into church one day and does the same thing, he asks; “God, please let me win the lottery.”  Suddenly a light shines into the church, a great wind sweeps the old man off his feet and a booming voice echoes throughout the church…Buy A Ticket… Think and Grow rich IS that ticket. Buy it.

To get the most out of Think And Grow Rich, you should not read it once like a novel but study it, highlight it, read it aloud. Do the exercises inside twice daily until you get what you want out of life. Constantly ask yourselves all the Self Analysis questions throughout the book especially the ones in the last pages.

Pro Tip: Get a copy and put it on your phone so you can read it instead of social media or the news. Think and Grow Rich is far more worthy of being read than most social media or news sites.

One last recommendation is that after you have fully absorbed the concepts of Think and Grow Rich, if you find yourself not doing the daily work required to make changes in your life, you should buy the book “The Morning Miracle”. This book is the perfect companion to Think And Grow Rich. It was the combination of both these books that finally allowed me to incorporate the concepts into my daily life. The Morning Miracle forces you to take the time to do the work on your mindset, on a daily basis, the first thing in the morning.

I’ll leave you as Napoleon Hill does on the last page of Think And Grow Rich.

There he says “The Reward is worthy of your effort. Will you make the start and be convinced?.
