Note, these are the best real estate agent website template sites for an agent who doesn’t need a lot of extras. There are more powerful real estate websites that combine CRM’s and Lead Generation for real estate teams and brokerages.

- CRM is only for leads from the website and Google Ad campaigns.
Final Thoughts
The best thing about Agent Website is the customer service. You can spend a lot more money for a website with a bigger company but I’m not sure you are going to find a better customer service experience. They especially shine when dealing with agents that are less technically knowledgeable. They explain your options very well and will make sure you get the perfect website that suits your needs.
Their highest plan is especially interesting. They will create and manage a Google Ads campaign for you. I think this is a great way for agents who don’t know how to do Google Ads to get expert guidance for a great price. Gotta love small businesses!

- No CRM.
- Website doesn’t integrate with 3rd party lead sources.
Final Thoughts
IDXbroker offers a great product at a decent price. All of their websites include IDX. They are a sister company to IxactContact, one of my top rated CRM’s. If you don’t need an IDX feed on your website, you can get a free website that I suspect is hosted by IDXbroker included with your IxactContact CRM. You can even add IDX from IDXbroker to this free website for less than you would pay for an IDXbroker website.
If you don’t have a website or a CRM, the IxactContact CRM and their included free website may be the way to go. A full featured CRM with a basic website is a better combo for an agent than the best website in the world and no CRM.

Keep in mind that the free website from IxactContact, even with the IDX feed added, is not as fully featured as the IDXbroker websites.

Showcase IDX is ONLY for agents who have a WordPress website and just need to integrate IDX into that website. They do not offer any website hosting like the other options here.
If you want the low cost, flexibility and control of having your own WordPress.org website and have the technical know how to build your own website then this is the IDX for you.
If you have very specific needs and wants and are going to hire an independent web developer to build your site then Showcase IDX is the way to add the key IDX features to that site.
They have two plans but the basic Essentials plan really has all the best features like Polygon Map search and Use My Location searches that give your clients a better home search experience they would get on Zillow. You probably only need the higher plan once you add the 3rd agent to your team.

The DIY plan is a great way to go if you know what you want and are confident you can build out your website the way you want it. The DIY plan lets you take charge of your website and change it as your needs change but if you have questions or break something, there is someone to help out.
If you are really tech savvy, you can just build your own website using WordPress but if anything goes wrong with a WordPress site, you are truly on your own with no one to turn to.
They don’t advertise the Express set up option too well but if you pay the one time fee to have the site built out and then you take it from there, you will save $50 a month.
I think the DIFM plan is a bit pricey because most agents don’t make changes to their website every month but if you’re not tech savvy or need to make constant changes, this is the plan for you.
The DIFM Content Pro plan is perfect if you’re too busy because they take charge of your social media campaigns and create regular content for you keeping you top of mind in your sphere of influence.

Final Thoughts
Proagent Websites is probably the best overall choice for most agents.
The AVR (Automated Voice Response) and MTR (Mobile Text Response) systems gives you a toll free number for your listing signs and a text for more info number to put on a sign rider on your listings. Leads call or text these numbers to get more information and you capture leads from your For Sale signs. I have found these to be two excellent ways to get leads. Buyers don’t want to call an agent but they are more likely to text or call for an automated response. These two systems bring your website into the real world to generate leads.
So, what is the very best real estate agent website builder?
The best real estate agent for one agent may be the absolute worst for you.
Let’s break it all down.
If you like working with a small business and talking to an owner, then AgentWebsite.net is the best choice.
If you want to have a managed Google Ads campaign then AgentWebsite.net is the best choice for you.
If you just want an IDX plug in for a WordPress website then Showcase IDX is the best pick.
If you want everything about the website done for you and even have someone manage your Facebook, Instagram and Blogging campaigns then Placester is the best option.
If you want the most fully featured modern looking IDX website or if you have a large team or brokerage, then IDX Broker is the way to go.
I think the best choice for most agents will be Pro Agent Websites. They offer the best balance of features and price giving the best value for most agents. They only offer partial IDX coverage in 30 states and don’t even cover every MLS in those states. If they don’t cover your area then go with IDXbroker or AgentWebsite.net
If you just need a basic website with or without IDX and don’t already have a CRM then the best option is one I didn’t review on this page, IxactContact CRM which includes a free website with no IDX and IDX available for less money than any of the options here.
